The first week of work is over, and I was lucky enough to end it with a walk in a local park. As part of my mindful journey, I make sure I get the steps in each day. When I can, I prefer to choose a rural area, which gives me a change of scenery and the opportunity to observe the wildlife. The experience reminded me of the article I read on Walking Academy about relaxation and the five benefits of walking.
